THE CHALLENGE

International buyers and sellers face similar problems of limited payment options, non-compatible credit card companies, and differing currencies. Tourists spend more than $98 billion per year in Florida alone. Most of those visitors are from Latin American countries, like Brazil, where it is common to pay for goods in installments.

These tourists also faced the challenge of unavailable options for their home country’s currency and unsupported credit card providers. Like their potential customers, companies were also missing out. The Brazil market is continually growing, and sellers wanted to grow with it.

Allow buyers to pay in various ways- including using different currencies and in installments, on orders from US merchants while sellers can get simple payments in USD.

PROCESS

  • Ultrahaus performed a technology mash-up in order to unify payment processing from different countries into a single solution.
  • The solution gives customers the ability to pay online or in-person therefore needing an interface and a robust management system for merchants.
